We can’t wait to welcome you back to The Wheatsheaf,

whether it’s for Food, Drinks or an overnight stay. The same warm and friendly welcome awaits you!

We have undoubtedly been required to make some changes to ensure the safety of both our customers and staff. We hope this page will keep you up to date with how things will work when you visit.

** All Adults 16+ are required to provide details for Track & Trace**

Access to both the Bar and Restaurant will be through the side door, please be prepared to queue outside at peak times. Please find a vacant table which is suitable for the size of your party. If you have booked a table for food, please make staff aware and you’ll be shown straight through to our restaurant. If you’d like to sit on the terrace, please find yourself an available table and a member of staff will be with you as soon as possible.

  • Changes to opening times to allow for deep cleaning of our Bar and Restaurant
  • Please make use of the hand sanitizers available on all entrances and toilets
  • We’re encouraging contactless payments to avoid handling cash, however we will still accept cash
  • Increased the frequency of our already high standard cleaning protocol
  • Please ensure social distancing is followed using floor markings & signage and ensure you wear a face covering whilst not at your table
  • Although not essential, we ask that you book a table with us, where possible
  • Staff have been trained in COVID 19 measures
  • All furniture has been positioned in line with social distancing regulations, screens between tables have been fitted to ensure all of our safety. Please refrain from moving the furniture.
In the Main Bar

⊕ All customers must be seated, strictly in groups of 6 or 2 households

⊕ Full table service will be offered to you by our staff

⊕ Sorry, we are not taking bookings for tables in the bar area

⊕ Please wear a face covering whilst not at your table

In the Restaurant

⊕ Booking although not essential, is very much advised and appreciated 

⊕ Full table service will be offered

⊕ Cutlery and condiments will be given after arrival, along with disposable menus to avoid cross contamination 

⊕ All customers must be seated, strictly in groups of 6 or 2 households

⊕ Please wear a face covering whilst not at your table

On the Terrace

⊕ Tables aren’t available to book on the terrace

⊕ Full table service will be offered

⊕ Thankfully no restrictions on how many people on a table
